Evidence-based psychotherapy, assessment, and specialized care
in the heart of Kensington, Calgary.
Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Care for Adults
I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience working in mental health, including hospital psychiatry and private practice. I work primarily with adults seeking clarity, stability, and practical strategies for managing complex concerns.
Many of the people I work with are highly capable, thoughtful, and motivated — yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about next steps. My role is to help you understand what is happening, identify what will be most helpful, and move forward in a way that feels grounded and sustainable.
My approach is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. Therapy is not about labels — it is about understanding patterns, building skills, and creating meaningful change.

A Calm, Grounded Space in Kensington
My practice is located in the Kensington area of Calgary — a walkable, established neighbourhood known for its character, greenery, and sense of community. The setting reflects the tone of the work we do here: thoughtful, grounded, and intentional.
I believe the environment matters. A calm, welcoming space helps support focus, reflection, and meaningful conversation. Clients often tell me they appreciate the quiet, professional atmosphere and the feeling of stepping away from the pace of daily demands.
Whether you are attending therapy sessions or completing an assessment, the goal is to provide a space where you can slow down, clear your thoughts, and work toward practical, sustainable change.
Services
I provide individual psychotherapy for adults using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs. Therapy focuses on understanding patterns, building skills, and creating practical strategies to support emotional well-being, clarity, and resilience.
Comprehensive assessment services are available for adults, including ADHD and complex presentations with co-occurring concerns. The assessment process typically involves multiple sessions and provides clear feedback, diagnostic clarity, and individualized recommendations.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process distressing experiences without requiring detailed retelling. ART may be introduced when clinically appropriate and is often integrated alongside psychotherapy.
What to Expect
Whether you are seeking therapy or an assessment, the process is structured, thoughtful, and collaborative. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and clear about next steps from the beginning.
Initial Contact & Intake
I offer a brief introductory consultation to answer any questions you may have about the work I do and to determine if I am the right fit. If we decide to move forward, you will be provided with intake forms and appointment information. This helps ensure our time together is focused and meaningful from the first session.
Sessions or Assessment Process
Therapy sessions are collaborative and skill-focused. Assessment typically involves several structured appointments designed to understand the full picture, particularly when concerns are complex or overlapping.
Clarity, Feedback & Next Steps
You will receive clear feedback, practical recommendations, and an individualized plan. The focus is always on understanding patterns and supporting sustainable change moving forward.
Areas of Focus
I work with adults navigating layered or overlapping life challenges. Whether your concerns feel hard to untangle alone or you have identified exactly what you want to address, my practice is a welcoming space for seeking clarity, structure, and practical support.
